7.Jim Corbett National Park

Dhikala Grasslands in the core are of the park are a great place for tracking tigers and elephants.

World-renowned Corbett Tiger Reserve, established in 1936 as India’s first national park, covers 1318 sq. km of wild forests. It’s named for legendary British hunter Jim Corbett (1875–1955), who brought this region international fame with his book The Man-Eaters of Kumaon.

6.Ranthambore National Park

This famous national park is the best place to spot wild tigers in Rajasthan. It comprises 1334 Sq Km of wild jungle scrub hemmed in by rocky ridges, and at its centre is the 10th-century Ranthambhore Fort.

Best Times to Visit: November to May

Access – Jaipur is the nearest airport – Appx 180 Kms from the Park , a 4 hr Drive. Sawai Madhopur is the nearest railway station , a mere 10 Km s from the Park entry.

5.Tadoba National Park

The semi arid forests of Tadoba significantly increase your chances of tiger sightings.

The now popular Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve, 150km south of Nagpur, is one of the best places to see tigers in India. Seeing fewer visitors than most other Indian forest reserves – it gets around 60% fewer visitors than neighbouring parks in Madhya Pradesh – this is a place where you can get up close to wildlife without having to jostle past truckloads of shutter-happy tourists.

4.Kanha National Park

The Jungle Book forests of Kanha Tiger Reserve are its most famous , with vast forests your chances of seeing a tiger are slightly lower than at nearby Bandhavgarh, however this is still one of India’s best parks for tiger encounters. 3.Bandhavagarh National Park

With a high tiger density in a smaller park area, Bandhavgarh is often the top choice for Tiger Tracking Safaris.

If your sole reason for visiting an Indian tiger reserve is to see a tiger, look no further. Two or three days at Bandhavgarh should net you a tiger sighting. India’s 2014 tiger census counted 68 tigers here, the great majority of them in the relatively small (453 sq. km) territory of Bandhavgarh National Park, which forms part of the reserve’s core zone.

2.Pench National Park

While Pench may not be as popular, in recent times it has emerged as a solid choice for tiger tracking safaris

Made up mostly of teak-tree forest rather than sal, it has a different flavour from nearby Kanha or Bandhavgarh. It also sees fewer tourists; you’ll often feel like you have the whole forest to yourself. Even if no tigers appear, there’ll be a variety of other wildlife, and the forests are beautiful in their own right making it a great choice for a tiger safari in India
