These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your access to and use of www.globaljourneys.in (“Website”) and the travel services offered by GlobalJourneys (“GlobalJourneys”, “Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
GlobalJourneys is a sole proprietorship concern owned and operated under applicable Indian law.
By using this Website or booking any tour or service with us, you (“Client”, “you”, “your”) agree to be bound by this Agreement.
1. Use of Website
GlobalJourneys reserves the right to modify or replace this Agreement at any time at its sole discretion. You are advised to review the latest version prior to booking.
Continued use of the Website following any modification constitutes acceptance of such changes.
This document is published in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable rules thereunder.
Use of the Website is available only to persons competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. Minors, persons of unsound mind, and undischarged insolvents are not eligible to use the Website or enter into a booking contract.
You agree:

To use the Website only for legitimate bookings

Not to make speculative, false, or fraudulent reservations

Not to interfere with Website functionality
GlobalJourneys reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms.
2. Prohibited Information
Users shall not host, display, upload, publish, transmit or share information that:

Belongs to another person without rights

Is defamatory, obscene, invasive of privacy, unlawful or harmful

Infringes intellectual property rights
-
Contains malware or malicious code
-
Impersonates another person
GlobalJourneys reserves the right to remove such content and terminate access.
3. Scope of Services
GlobalJourneys markets and curates experience-based travel packages.
We do not own, control or operate airlines, hotels, cruise lines, transport providers or other independent service providers (“Suppliers”).
All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by respective Suppliers.
While we exercise due care in selecting Suppliers, we are not responsible for:

Delay, deficiency or default by Suppliers

Acts of co-travelers
-
Service disruptions beyond our control
4. Booking, Pricing & Payment Terms
4.1 Booking Confirmation
A booking shall be confirmed only upon:

Receipt of required deposit, and
-
Written confirmation issued by Global Journeys.
4.2 Deposit & Balance Payment
A deposit amount (as communicated at time of booking) is required to secure services.
The balance payment must be made no later than 30 days prior to departure unless otherwise specified.
Failure to pay balance within stipulated time may result in cancellation without further notice and applicable cancellation charges shall apply.
4.3 Pricing & Revisions
Prices are based on prevailing:

Exchange rates
-
Supplier tariffs
-
Government taxes (including GST and TCS, where applicable)

Fuel surcharges and levies
Global Journeys reserves the right to revise pricing prior to full payment in case of:
-
Currency fluctuation
-
Increase in supplier cost
-
Tax revision
-
Government or regulatory changes
Such revisions shall be binding upon the Client.
5. Health & Insurance
Clients must inform us of any medical condition at the time of booking.
We may require medical fitness certification prior to departure.
Clients are strongly advised to procure comprehensive travel insurance including medical evacuation and repatriation coverage.
Where insurance is facilitated through GlobalJourneys, the contractual relationship remains directly between the Client and the insurer. GlobalJourneys shall not be liable for policy terms, claim rejection, or coverage limitations.
6. Visa & Travel Documents
Clients are responsible for obtaining valid passports, visas (including transit visas), permits and travel documentation.
Visa approval is at the sole discretion of the respective embassy or consulate.
Visa fees are non-refundable as per the applicable embassy or consulate rules.
Global Journeys shall not be liable for:

Visa rejection
-
Delayed processing
-
Incomplete documentation provided by the Client
In case of visa rejection or delay, cancellation policy shall apply.
7. Amendments & Changes
7.1 Changes by GlobalJourneys
We reserve the right to amend itineraries, substitute hotels, change transport arrangements, or alter schedules where reasonably necessary.
Where substitution is required, alternatives of similar category or standard shall be provided where possible.
No compensation shall be payable for such changes.
7.2 Force Majeure
GlobalJourneys shall not be liable for any failure, delay, alteration, curtailment or cancellation arising from events beyond its control, including but not limited to:
Natural disasters, pandemics, adverse weather, war, civil unrest, government restrictions, airline insolvency, strikes, or other unforeseeable events.
Refunds, if any, shall be subject to recovery from Suppliers.
8. Refund Policy
Refunds (if applicable):

Shall be processed subject to receipt of funds from Suppliers

Shall be made through original mode of payment wherever possible
-
May take up to 45 days (or longer where airline refunds are pending)
No refund shall be payable for:

Unused services
-
No-shows
-
Early departure
-
Missed sightseeing due to personal reasons
9. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation must be made in writing.
Cancellation charges (land package):
Cancellation Period Charges
45+ days prior No cancellation fee
30 – 44 days 25% of invoice
15 – 29 days 50%
7 – 14 days 75%
Under 7 days 100%
Supplier-specific cancellation charges (airlines, hotels, cruises, etc.) shall apply in addition.
Non-refundable bookings shall remain non-refundable.
10. Client Conduct
Clients must comply with:

Local laws of destination countries
-
Safety instructions
-
Tour manager guidance
GlobalJourneys reserves the right to remove any Client whose conduct is unlawful, disruptive, unsafe, or prejudicial to other travelers or Suppliers.
No refund shall be payable in such circumstances.
11. Limitation of Liability
GlobalJourneys shall not be liable for:

Acts or omissions of independent Suppliers
-
Personal injury, sickness, accident, delay or loss caused by third parties
-
Airline schedule changes or boarding denial
-
Loss of baggage by carriers
-
Visa refusal
-
Force majeure events
Total liability of GlobalJourneys shall not exceed the total tour price paid by the Client.
GlobalJourneys shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages.
Nothing in this Agreement excludes liability where prohibited by law.
12. Indemnity
The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless GlobalJourneys (including its proprietor, employees, agents and representatives) against any claims, losses, damages, penalties or expenses arising from:

Breach of this Agreement

Submission of false or incomplete documentation
-
Visa or immigration violations
-
Damage to property of Suppliers
-
Unlawful or negligent acts during travel
13. Data Protection
By using the Website and services, you consent to processing of your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Data shall be processed in compliance with:

Information Technology Act, 2000
-
Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023
14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of India.
Disputes shall first be resolved through good faith negotiation.
If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

Courts at Mumbai shall have exclusive jurisdiction
15. Severability
If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, remaining provisions shall continue in full force.
16. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the Client and GlobalJourneys with respect to the services.
