Twelve days across the full length
of Vietnam's soul
Vietnam has long been on every traveller's list but most people barely scratch the surface. This itinerary goes further. We begin in Hanoi, stepping into the labyrinthine 36 streets of the Old Quarter before cruising the emerald waters of Halong Bay. Then we head north into Ha Giang, where the road winds through some of the most dramatic mountain scenery in all of Southeast Asia karst peaks, terraced valleys, Hmong villages, and the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass.
We cross to Cao Bang for the thundering Ban Gioc Waterfall on the China border, before flying south to Phong Nha — a UNESCO World Heritage landscape of ancient caves and jungle rivers. From there, we trace the coast through Imperial Hue and over the legendary Hai Van Pass into Danang, ending with a golden day at Bana Hills and an enchanted evening in Hoi An's lantern-lit ancient town.
Twelve days. Eight destinations. One extraordinary country, top to bottom with Indian-friendly meals throughout, a private vehicle, and an English-speaking guide at every step.
